The Mercedes Sprinter and Vario range also has been adapted, by aftermarket coach builders, to carry wheelchair users in. By fitting the rear seats on quick release removable tracking, wheelchair users can access the vehicle by an internal or external electrically operated lift, or fold out ramps. Once in the vehicle wheelchairs can be anchored down to the floor mounted tracking using additional wheelchair anchoring straps. Also fitted to a number of these vehicles are slide out or fold out side door entry steps reducing the entry step height into the bus. The variations of these vehicles are vast offering 1 to 8 wheelchairs options depending on the size of the vehicle. Welfare buses are also a variation of the Sprinter and Vario range often used by local authorities allowing easy access and a spacious environment for all users.

With, the Sprinter Traveliner, three vehicle lengths and two passenger compartment heights, you have a selection offering the right solution for almost any transport task. A choice of engine power outputs and a choice of either a manual or Sprintshift automatic / steptronic gearboxes. Standard safety and comfort equipment to include anti-lock braking system (ABS), driver and front passenger airbags, rear 3 point seat belts, remote central locking, electric front windows, CD player, ECO-Start automatic engine start function and diesel particulate filter.

We also cater for the minibus operator supplying PSV spec vehicles with EU COC's, Certificate Of Initial Fitness (COIF) and tachographs. These vehicles are supplied with 12 months Public Service Vehicle test, Tachographs calibrated where required, tail lifts LOLA and weight tested ready for you to go straight to work.

Even today we are seeing more developments in the long line of vans that Carl Benz started with back in 1896. From the Vito to the Sprinter and along to the Vario: the one thing they have in common is a lineage that stretches back over one hundred years.
